Sadly for Nicky and I the Lord has called both Janice and Betty to Higher service with Him. But although we miss them both we rejoice in the sure knowledge that they are both with Him in the place that He prepared for them.

Don't let the wrinkles fool you I'm a lot younger now.
With my Wife, Betty, Daughter Janice, and Son in law, Nicky. 
  I moved to Wales 13 years ago at the Lords prompting.
We came to serve Him, not knowing quite how.
But Knowing that He knew.
  Instead of looking after the wooly kind of sheep we are now looking after a different flock. As leaders of "The Barn Christian Fellowship"    Which the Lord started on the Farm.  Where we  meet in a converted farm building.   Hence the Name.
And if you're really feeling kind you can write and give me some advice
The proprietor of a dry-cleaning and dyeing business hung this  sign in his window:
"We dye to live, and we live to dye; the more we dye, the more we live;
and
the more we live, the more we dye."

For the child of God, it is also true that the more he dies, the more he lives!
The Lighter Side
 
I have decided to reserve this area for sharing with you those occasions  when my meditation on Gods word brings forth some new insite to me
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus
Rom 8: v.1;
We Christians take great comfort from these words, But we  really must be sure we put the emphasis in the right place. This exemption from condemnation is for "Those who are IN Christ Jesus"  What does it mean to be IN Christ Jesus? Rom. 6:v.3; "Don't you Know that all of us who have been baptised into Christ were baptised into His death"? verse 5;" We have been united with him in His death".--- Verse 6; "Our old self was Crucufied" Verse 11; "Count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God IN Christ Jesus". Verses 6-7 To be truly IN Christ then we must no longer be to slaves to sin.             Meditate on these thoughts
